Updated Covid Guidelines

05-27-2021Pastor's Letter

The Governor has lifted the masking requirement indoors for those who are vaccinated, as well as the requirement for social distancing, and yesterday it was communicated to us from the diocese.

As per CDC guidelines, masks will be optional for those who are fully vaccinated. The Clergy and Extraordinary Ministers will continue to sanitize their hands before and after distribution of Holy Communion.

Seating will remain the same at present (every other pew) until we need to adjust for more people. Our church and buildings have been disinfected after each Liturgy and event with electro-static misters and we will continue that for the safety of all who come in our church and campus. We will continue to live stream our masses for those who still wish to participate virtually.

As mentioned previously, the Bishops have reinstated the obligation to attend Weekend Mass and Holy Days as of June 5/6 for the Feast of Corpus Christi, unless you are compromised or infirm. We continue to appreciate the support of the parishioners of St. Thomas the Apostle. Be assured of our constant prayers.
